We're at 21 golfers, with a capacity of 24.  If you're interested, now is the time to make your mind up!
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

James Boon and Ben Stephens now added.  Which takes us to 22.  Just 2 slots still available.

RE Friday the 20th September day at St Andrews. Himalayas and The Eden.

Mark has agreed I deal with this as a separate fund, but its an integral part of BUDA.
Plan is
11 am TBC Matches over the Himalayas Putting Course.
One of the great experiences in Golf. There’s plentiful parking nearby.

We have secured 6 tee slots from 13.12 for 18 Holes on The Eden Course.
6 min drive plentiful parking in a separate clubhouse.

Cost for both £74.  If a booking can’t be made, I’ll refund everyone concerned.

There are 3 ways of getting the Monies to me~: Anthony Muldoon
1
Those with a sterling account can pay directly into my bank.
First Direct
Sort Code 404783      Account No 61873334 - (same as last year).

NB this proved a real hassle for those trying from overseas last year, so see option 3 below as alternative. I do have an example of a form that was successfully used that I can send you. It seems the International Banking system calls things by different names each side of the Ocean, so care is needed.  IM me if you’d like to try it.

2
Paypal.

Paypal don’t make it easy to select a ‘Gift’ to ‘Friends and relations’ on Paypal “loophole” of sending money as a gift FOC has passed. Unless you get it just right it seems like they are now adding a 5% charge for these transfers. It’s the money I get that counts!
DO NOT USE THE EMAIL ADDRESS POSTED ON HERE ON A PREVIOUS YEAR  – see below.
You still need to send it as a Gift to Friends and Family – not paying for goods and services - and they don’t make it easy to find the right buttons to press.
Here’s guidance

If anyone has refinements to add please do so in a post below.
The correct address to use is
hstjet@googlemail.com    Do not shorten this.
3
Wise Bank offer easy (and cheap) transfers between countries and currencies.

I’ve opened an account and you should be able to find me at Spangles60@outlook.com

Tony sent you a paypal for $100 USD as I rounded up.  BTW couldn't figure out how to avoid the $5 that was added, no big deal.  Looking forward to it.

The Eden is a superb addition to BUDA.  Aficionados of architecture will be able to marvel at the greatness of Colt's work and the awfulness of 14 and 15 in the very same round.  But the great more than makes up for the awful!

And the Himalayas is tremendous fun, too.  Both rounds (Eden and putting) will count towards the score of the BUDA match.

One more thing.

I've noticed that the Links Trust are offering half price golf on The Castle Course for groups of 4 Scottish Golf Membership Card Holders. Price drops from £170 to £85 each.

I'd be up for this if there's 3 others on the Wednesday 18th? i.e. day before BUDA

Any other (qualified) interest?

With the addition of Doug Wright, we're now at 24 players signed up.  It would be an unusual BUDA indeed without a drop out between now and September, so if you're interested in being first in line if and when a space opens up, please let me know.
