Colt and Baltray
« on: June 25, 2024, 12:28:46 PM »
Our caddie at Rosses Point today claimed that Colt had a significant role at Baltray before Simpson. My quick internet search did not turn anything up.

Thanks.

I don’t think so Ira.

When you look at Simpson’s report, he refers a lot to original green locations that were very poorly placed.

Although he was known to be very competitive with Colt, his language and tone does not suggest he is talking about anything Colt had done.

I have never seen any evidence that HSC was at Co Louth. He was all over the Dublin region, but not there as far as I know

Have you read Simpson's report on Muirfield ? From memory he doesn't name Colt but he's pretty scathing about his work.
