Geoff,

I think this is a travesty.
But it is travesty only at the rare moments when it becomes conscious to people like us. You, Dr. Childs, powerless and rebellious, know the whole extent of the course's wretched condition: it is what you have posted that displays its descent. The lucidity that constitutes the torture of what has been done to this course (by your highlighting) at the same time crowns your subsequent victory. There is no fate that can not be surmounted by scorn.  Scorn will save Yale in the end. You will win..Yale will be redeemed and saved in time.

Quick question that has always confounded me. Why are a number of Yale's bunkers so out of the Raynor style. Raynor followed an engineered style. Why did he then build bunkers like this one, and the one on 18, which are very rough and formless?
