Help: Old Merion pix
« on: September 14, 2022, 12:05:06 PM »
Spent a couple hours scouring the archives but couldn't find what I was looking for, so thought I'd tap into the brain trust here. Does anyone have, or know how to find, the photo of Merion East when the 10th green was on the clubhouse side of Ardmore Ave.?

Thanks!

Wayne,

Thinking Joe Bausch or I have some pics around.  Wish there were good pics of the original 11th and approach to 12, as well but...
.
Let me see what I can find.

@John Emerson: Looked through the Dallin collection, but think those photos are after the date they moved the green. Couldn't find anything before 1925, but did find one from that year with #1 hole in its original spot. With that said, I just looked at it again and the old #10 green is still visible.

@Joe Bausch: Nothing attached.

@Mike Cirba: thanks!

Wayne,

This is probably the one you just mentioned.   I know Joe's site has some good ones from the 1916 US Amateur, as well.
