A New Jigsaw Puzzle for Fun
« on: May 27, 2022, 11:01:39 PM »

Since Joe hasn't done one in a while, here is one after a storm that did a fair bit of deforestation of a parkland course of no great note other than it will soon be NLE.  And I liked the picture.

Since there are no other replys then I guess I'm the leader in the clubhouse at 44 mins 36 seconds which is quite pathetic really. Can't say I recognised the course.

Sorry Niall,

I started by minimizing the pieces by about 50% to diminish clutter.
I usually do one 300- piece jigsawplanet.com puzzle a day, usually a landscape, or food if it lunchtime.

Even knowing what the picture was, it still took me more than 50 minutes.  Add me to the pathetic crowd.  :P

For those who want to know, the course is The Country Club West Course in Woodbridge Ontario Canada. It was designed in 1965 by Howard Watson for the Toronto Board of Trade and later modified by Arthur Hills - a nice parkland track on rolling hills.  In recent years it was leased to Clublink, the local golf course conglomerate.  Sadly it has been sold for a housing development and this is reputedly it's last year.

Is this how puzzles are done today? If so, I know a few old ladies that died too soon. Or maybe not.
