Penfold, the storied British golf brand of James Bond fame, is getting a new swing....
Gavin Perrett grew up in the UK watching James Bond movies, became a squash pro, moved to Philly, and is reviving Penfold, the British golf ball brand that figured in a pivotal “Goldfinger” scene.

Penfold, the British golf ball maker made famous by James Bond, is being reinvigorated by a UK expat who lives in Delaware County and hopes the brand will get a boost from the latest 007 movie, "No Time to Die“ We are an official partner of the 007 franchise for golf products,” said Gavin Perrett, 37, chief executive officer of Penfold Golf Limitedt, a licensee of the parent firm in Dudley, England. The “Penfold-007 Collection” of golf balls, tees, towels, and markers will be available in November]Founded in 1927, Penfold became known for its innovative golf ball technology as well as for partnerships with the pioneering female golfer Shirley Spork and rising stars such as Seve Ballesteros. If only they could bring back the small ball in balata...sigh.
Over time, the guy in the ideal position derives an advantage, and delivering him further  advantage is not worth making the rest of the players suffer at the expense of fun, variety, and ultimately cost -- Jeff Warne, 12-08-2010

I think there was a thread on this not too long ago, but I cannot find it. I just wonder that the Penfold brand has been dormant for so long (and was never that well known in the U.S.) that there is not much nostalgia for it.
