A month or two ago I remember getting an email from Mr Doak’s company about a new book.


I forwarded it to my wife and said “good Father’s Day gift, I own all of his others”.


Today she asked me to resend it. But i can’t find that email and I can’t find anything new on the Renaissance website.


Is there a new book available (I have Getting to 18) ?  Or was a dreaming.

There is indeed a book, but we won’t have them from the printer until Friday 25th.  After that they will go out by FedEx in the order received.


We have about 2000 orders so it will take a few days to get them all sent!

I’d like to be done with it, too.  But I would still like to see 40-50 courses on the Continent and in Morocco before I finish, instead of relying on my co-authors’ views, and it’s been impossible to make those trips in the past 18 months.  I hope to get to them this fall and next summer, so the earliest the book will be finished is Christmas 2022.

No not yet, which is a good thing because my office / warehouse would be overflowing right now had I done it.  We have discussed a reprint in conjunction with Bandon Dunes and with the opening of Lido - that would be fall of 2022 - but it’s not a done deal yet.
