Funny how another thread leads you to a great, contemporary golf writer. Will Bardwell is writing the way all of us wish we might unexpectedly write some day. He has a piece on Swope, in Kansas City, MO.

Swope is where John Kavanaugh and I first met and had a wonderful time. 


Not sure why the author felt the need to give credence to the Bethpage was Burbeck myth because that's long been proven erroneous with subsequent discovery of contemporaneous articles citing Tillinghast.
