I just watched the very poignant piece on the Golf Channel about Harding Park. I appreciated the emphasis on George Archer and Sandy Tatum, but am I the only one to wonder about no mention of Venturi?

He was a big part of the other part of the series I saw. I thing there are 3 parts.

In one of those pieces on the Golf Channel, Johnny Miller mentioned that, in 1964, golfers from the SF Bay Area won the US Open (Ken Venturi), the British Open (Tony Lema), the USGA Junior (Johnny Miller), the USGA Senior (Mr. Higgins) and the USGA Publinx (Bill MacDonald). That's pretty good. ;)
