Bradenton/Sara Bay FL clubs?
« on: June 29, 2020, 01:33:01 PM »
A good friend just bought a home on Sara Bay in Bradenton, FL. He's looking to join a club in the area He is most focused on a quality course and good golf culture. Any recommendations from the Treehouse?

I can't think there would be a better option than Sara Bay.  It is an old Ross with the bones of his work still evident.  Nice old club with a great history and a cool vibe.

Sara Bay is good. Bradenton CC. Lakewood National has two courses. . Men only Gator Creek.  I live at Lakewood National in the winter. I’ve been fortunate to play all them. Ritz Carlton is another good course.  Concession is the high end private.  Lots of good choices.

Sara Bay doesn't knock your socks off but it is solid golf with some great greens.
