Remember this green has quite a bit of tilt to it. If you are above the hole here it makes for very treacherous 2 putt and depending on how high you are (or perhaps chipping downhill) you could roll off the green. I don't mind it being easily reachable in 2 and appreciate that it requires a golfer to hit a draw for optimal positioning; or as others have said a very very high cut but that isn't a shot many try IIRC.
So you have a hole that requires a golfer to hit a draw off the tee, which is demanding because those who naturally fade the ball (Tiger) could hit a doublecross. You have water in front which with wind blowing we have seen numerous golfers somehow, someway come up short. You also have a very tough green if you are above the hole (one of the tougher greens at ANGC IMO). Great tournament hole.
