That's not holding up. Right now I see 4 English, 4 from USA, 1 Irish, and 1 South African.

I never said or predicted that sort of geographic diversification would be maintained over the course of the tournament.

That being said, at the end of the 3rd round the top 22 players came from 9 different countries. I doubt you would find that at any of the other majors.

Masters 2019 had 10 countries represented,   US Open had 11, PGA Championship had 12
