This article posts about many courses we have discussed often and some we may have forgotten.
Arrowtown GC
Tara Iti
Kauri Cliffs
Cape Kidnappers
Paraparaumu Beach
Royal Wellington
Millbrook Resort
The Hills
Jack's Point

All great info, but one sentence got my attention. "Two public-access courses - one by Bill Coore/Ben Crenshaw, another by Tom Doak - are on the drawing board to be build just south of Tara Iti.

Tom or anyone care to share details or timelines about such course plans.

I wish we had a timeline, but we are still awaiting permit approvals.  They are ready to start this year if the permits fall into place.  The client is Ric Kayne, who was behind Tara Iti, but this would be a Resort project with housing overlooking some of the fairways.

Bill’s course is pretty much all along the water, except for the first three holes.  Ours starts and finishes by the ocean, but the majority of it is inland, across some very dramatic terrain.  Let’s just say that most members of GCA should hope it happens.
