Attached below is an excellent article recently posted on Jason Way’s Geeked on Golf website describing the ongoing efforts to ‘Save San Geronimo’ led by GCA’s own Josh Pettit and Marin County activist Niz Brown.  The article offers, in my opinion, a balanced view (too balanced?) regarding the current conflict between Marin County’s environmental advocates versus the county’s golf and recreational advocates.  Relatedly, I have attached the Save San Geronimo’s website which has information on exciting golf-related auction items up for bid at the upcoming January 10th fundraiser taking place at Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael.  As mentioned on previous threads, SG fundraiser auction items include packages at Bandon Sheep Ranch, Sand Valley, Meadow Club, Edgewood Tahoe, and Lake Merced.  I look forward to perhaps seeing some of you on the 10th of January at Terrapin Crossroads.

CJames -

Thanks for your post.

I drove by San Geronimo in the afternoon on Christmas Day last week. It was very sad to see the course slowly fading away. I will try to make it to the fundraiser on January 10.

Good piece from the Marin Independent Journal (Dec. 19, 2019):
