Re: Kirkland Golf Balls

Two days ago I received my shipment.  Yesterday I played 18 holes with the "new" Kirkland Signature.  I had previously played with the original one and was curious if this latest edition was comparable.
I also gave balls to my two other playing companions, all of us are single digit players.  One younger player hits the drives more than 260 yards.  We all came away very impressed.  The feel, the distance and I thought the ball off the putter was great.  My only hesitation is I need more time to assess the spin or shots of 50 yards or less.  My calculations are that each ball with taxes, shipping and handling come out to $1.45 a ball.  I think they have a winner.
It must be kept in mind that the elusive charm of the game suffers as soon as any successful method of standardization is allowed to creep in.  A golf course should never pretend to be, nor is intended to be, an infallible tribunal.
