Birch Grove in England New

Has anyone seen, played, or know much about this course in West Sussex? Evidently it was build by a Chinese businessman around 1994 who hired Donald Steele to design it. It seems it went dormant until it changed hands in 2011 when it was restored. It is privately owned a reputedly gets fewer than 200 rounds of play a year.

Information on Birch Grove was always difficult to come by, I didn't know it had been re-instated. Will look over the fence in the next few weeks and report back.

This was the site of the Yale Golf Team's Match with Oxford Old Boys in March of 1996. We played 36 holes of foursomes and left the property between rounds for lunch at a country pub. I remember a 250-ish yard par-3 17th and then a par-four finishing hole too long to reach...at least in March. Very interesting day. It was set up by Mr. Steele himself. We were all very grateful for the visit.
