Interesting that no one picked a shot that featured water as a hazard for a challenging approach.  I agree with many of the selected shots and would add a left hand pin to the 16th at PGA West Stadium.

Geoffrey;

And here I thought you were going to hit us with a water hole, perhaps the 16th at Firestone South!  ;)

Actually, the 15th at Grand Cypress North (mentioned below) features water, although more as a lateral hazard.

How about the par fives at Metedeconk National?

I like all the 5 pars at Metedeconk and they're certainly 3 shotters for me.

The pitch to the 13th ar Augusta would be a water dominated approach of great merit (you can even recover your ProV1 from the creek).

I was curious about the lack of water hazard dominated choices by the group.

#14 The Golf Club
#4 Victoria National

Executing the second shot might be the most important shot.

I think you mean the 3rd at Victoria National.  Fall away green to water behind.  Its a tough pitch shot and yes it does require a 2nd shot to the left to open up the angle to the green.  The 4th is a nice short 4 par with a diagonal tee shot over water.

Geoff Childs,

I don't know how we all overlooked the third shots into # 13 and # 15 at ANGC.

# 3 at Metedeconk is pretty demanding.
