A headline that might raise a few eyebrows...

This is a profile of Pete Dye and his newly-opened Chatham Hills.

In GCA terms, the article covers familiar territory.

But the headline...?

Thought that might make for some nice conversation.

He seems the Jack Nicholson of golf course architects: a rascal brimming with the style and panache of a movie star but with the great talent to back it up.  Someone with one foot in the past and one in the present, and a living textbook on how to build -- and sustain -- a career in an ever changing business. It is remarkable how successful both men have been, from way back in the 1960s until this very day.

"I want the golf course!"
