For all those who will ask at some point, Karsten Creek is not considered a campus course because it is not owned by Oklahoma State University or available to students (other than the golf teams), alumni, or faculty. It essentially is a donor-funded private club established for the benefit of the golf programs.

I’m very surprised to see University Ridge at #3.  It’s a good course, but of the courses that I have played on the list, I thought the Kampen and Scarlet course at OSU were better.  University Ridge felt very ordinary to me.  The lines and conditioning were great, but I can’t remember much strategy or particularly interesting greens.  The par 5 with the split fairway on the back 9 was fun (16 maybe?), but nothing else stood out.  Perhaps I missed something on my one play…
