Marquette is a hard place to get to, so it probably suffers from a lack of visits, but just to pick out two courses I've played, I'd split ten rounds between Greywalls and Cog Hill 10-0 in favor of Greywalls, so the 50 spot spread is a little ridiculous.  I'd probably say the same for Lawsonia over Cog Hill.

I've never played Lawsonia, but I agree with you entirely on 10-0 Greywalls vs Cog Hill. I thought Greywalls was a brilliant and very fun golf course. It's at the end of the earth, but well worth the trip.

Jon,

I'll chime in and say Lawsonia is one of the most "enjoyable" places I've ever been to.  The Links is flat out fun to play.  I played Cog Hill last year coming back from the PGA Championship in Kohler.  No part of that day at Cog Hill was enjoyable except the company.  I don't understand why Cog Hill gets so much love on these lists.
