I had the chance to observe an ongoing test conducted at North Shore CC in Illinois. The super there, Dan Dinelli, is one of the really good guys both personally and professionally. They have a very large practice green which was about 80% poa, 20% bent. Half the green was treated with poa cure while the other half remained as is. After a period of time, the untreated half remained 80 poa, 20 bent. The other half was poa free and the bent had taken over.
I don't have any information about its impact on fescue greens. In my decidedly non-professional opinion, I suspect its greatest use will be to keep greens poa free via periodic (every few years)applications to new greens. I understand it is will be quite expensive. But it appears to be a very promising tool for those who want pure bent greens.
