A friend has to attend a meeting at the resort and asked about the golf course. Is it worth playing?

I didn't make it there this past summer and  it appears that Matt Petersen is the only local who has played there. Here's the previous thread:

If your friend is there now, golfnow.com has a deal for $99 this Sunday. Otherwise, Talking Stick North is nearby and is probably the better option if he doesn't want to travel.

Thanks--I should've remembered Scottsdale is your stomping grounds.

I would play both Talking Sticks over Ambiente.

To me, North is more interesting than South, but South is still superior to Ambiente.

#2 and #12 on Talking Stick North are worth showing up for just by themselves.  The rest of the course ain't no slouch either.
