Deal has quietly climbed the league table from 135 to 117.  What are the chances it climbs another 18 spots  ;)

Ciao

Which league table, Sean?

Having noticed the rise in spillage profits Whitty's bar card is now £75, I'm happy to assist with any underspend! There remains no joining fee which surprised me.

Sean I would think there is no chance of rising into the top 100 unless a few new faces drop out and there remains little building of new courses. Certainly with Golf World's GB&I top 100 new faces tend to do well then slowly slip away.

I was wrong about Deal week, last year a group of Belgium and US friends paid £165 for ten days competitive golf. That's £16.50 a day if you stayed the full ten days. Is there better value on the planet??

Dealies are now suggesting a dedicated week and half holiday to get good value out of Deal?  The bar bill would be a deal breaker :o  A better deal is you sign me in for the weekend, give me half price #1 rates and provide a few slap up home meals.  I am happy to supply the wine and will even cover Whitty's spillage  :D

BTW - Whitty - how are ya?

Sean you can play as little as you like in Deal week, play 4 competitions for £41.25 a day even that's top value.

Scott was right though when he spoke about the experience as well, North Berwick is far cheaper but can resemble a zoo when you have five tour buses in town. At least a 2pm tee time at RCP guarantees a couple of beers before a 7pm shower!
