Its a sure bet that I will like a small (roughly 3x5 inches) plain white card with yardages from one tee only.  Local rules, stick map and stymie gauge on the front and back are optional.  I hate it when there are several yardages for each hole on a card.  Make that crap for visitors if must be, but keep the member card cheap and not so cheerful.

Ciao

Sean,

two cards very much in the style that was usual in the 70's when I started playing. Relevant information with out any unnecessary embellishment.

The two best scorecards that I used this year were from Keney Park in CT and Sweeten's Cove in TN. , Small, devoid of any advertising and simply, simple. Sometimes, less is more.
Best Played So Far This Season:
Crystal Downs CC (MI), The Bridge (NY), Canterbury GC (OH), Lakota Links (CO), Montauk Downs (NY), Sedge Valley (WI)

Ok so let's add another layer to my original question...how important is it that a card matches the architecture of the golf course?  Certainly a card like Myopia's does.

Mid Pines and Old Mac waterproof edition are my two of my favorites.

As mentioned, Rye is a classic. No frills.

Rye must seem like an extremely long course - although if you thought of par as 72, its length would be pretty normal.
