Great Friends picture.

Great Friends of GCA and everything that is right about the direction of golf course architecture!

Neil,

I am only shocked that there are no "little green men" in the background!

The little green men were there, including the next generation..
Their absence from the photo is one of those things that distinguishes a pro such as LCL.

Just don't ask Larry to take off in an ultralight from a beach in México.

Larry Lambrecht has produced some amazing images. His collaboration with William Quirin on America's Linksland-A Century of Long Island Golf is a wonderful compilation of new and old photographs. A great addition for anyone that enjoys golf photography.

My fascination with golf architecture actually began as a youngster, when I saw a National Geographic article about Long Island. There was a wonderful photo of NGLA with the windmill prominently displayed.  "Holy shit," I said.
