Yes, the RTJII firm is doing the design work.

Yes, he and his firm are doing the work.  Jones has been on site several times along with Bruce Charlton and Mike Gorman.

interesting stuff.  is this  renovation in the spirit of what's been done at Pinehurst #2?  on some of these videos I hear terms like natural sandy area, and native grasses, and more natural looking... would it be fair to say that C&C work at Pinehurst has had some effect on this work?

They say they're trying to create an atmosphere like Pine Valley or Pinehurst. I hope it's more like Pinehurst than Pine Valley just because I can't imagine how much the maintenance fees would be if they had manufactured scruffy areas like they do at PV.
