Coming as soon (I hope) as the snow melts: pic of what 16 would look like from a tee elevated 30 feet above the green. Possible RC change?

why destroy the best hole on the course?  Only way this could make any sense is if they moved the tee 30 feet to the right.  However, this would put it in the midde of the lake

This is 16 at Hazeltine.  I had not heard about this proposed change but could see why many would like the idea.  It would make the fairway visible from the tee.  Right now pretty much all you see are reeds along the shoreline and it is difficult to tell whether your shot to the right crossed the lateral hazard line or not.  (Don't ask me how I know).

I am not sure it would make a huge difference one way or the other to the quality of the hole.  If they do it, I hope they tie the tee into the slope down from 15 green rather than require one to climb 30 feet to get up to it.
