If Andrew Green is running around on here, I'll leave it to him to provide the detail (his Twitter feed is also recommended). The basics are as follows:
Hole 2 - Green lasered and relocated back and to the right approximately 50 yards. This will make it more of a contrast to Hole 11 and provide some added length from the back tees while maintaining the interesting slopes of the original green.
Old Holes 3, 5, and 6 will be replaced entirely. Old Hole 4 now becomes new Hole 6 and flows right into old Hole 7. Those two long par fours (old Holes 4 and 7) will now be played back to back, which had been the case from the course's inception right up until the Fazio work in the late 70s.
New Hole 3 - Heading south along the same general direction as Holes 1 and 2, this will be a new long par three played along a slope moving gently from right to left. The land on which it sits is the previously unused prairie to the right of the old Hole 5.
New Hole 4 - This is a short/medium length dogleg left par four played back up the first half of the old Hole 5 fairway, with a slightly uphill approach to a well-contoured green located just south of the old Hole 3 pond.
New Hole 5 - This is a medium length par three played on a north/northeast diagonal with a green set very near the old Hole 3 green.
Hole 8 - New green complex moved about 30 yards to the right of the old green.
This work will likely receive most of the attention, but the adjustments to the fairway mowing patterns, green expansions, mounding, and bunkers are all very exciting.
