Congrats to GCA-er Andrew Biggadike, who was low man on the California team in the USGA State Championships and finished T-4 over 54 holes in a field of 150 golfers.

I thought I read this summer that Andrew Biggadike played out of Ridgewood C.C. In N.J. If that's the case how did he get on the California team?

Andrew has lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for about 8 years now. The following is from the USGA website:

"Andrew Biggadike, 34, of Belmont, temporarily moved to New Jersey to be with his ailing father, who died from pancreatic cancer a day after he returned home from the 2012 U.S. Amateur. A software engineer who has been a member at The Olympic Club since 2006, Biggadike gave his sectional qualifying medal to his ailing father before departing for Cherry Hills. He qualified for match play and lost to Doug Hanzel in the first round. He also is a volunteer Rules official for the Northern California Golf Association and scored a 97 on the 2011 PGA/USGA Rules Test and a 92 this year."

A software engineer that can golf that ball. Now that's impressive. Kalen and I are truly humbled.
