Aside from Marianske Lazne, does anyone know of worthy courses in Czech?

For that matter, has anyone played Marianske Lazne?

It is the only course I played there - very forgettable not worth the effort - spend a week in Prague with no golf.
The course was somewhat pretty with no holes better than just OK.

We are currently working at Royal   Marianske Lazne.

Just in case you are interested, the course has just been awarded "Royal" status because the then King of England used to play the course on his many royal visits.

Many would say the golf was the second reason for his visits, which poses the question "what was his first?"  I'll leave that up to the reader.....  (fast women springs to mind?!?)

nearby Prague there is Karlstejn golf course, built in 1993 by Jime Eremko and Les Furber (www.karlstejn-golf.cz) and new 18-hole course Konopiste, opened in 2002 (www.gcko.cz).

In Western Bohemia apart from Marianske Lazne (Marienbad) there are two 18-hole courses at Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad): Olsova vrata (Karlsbad Golf club - www.golfresort.cz) built in 1931-1932 by C.Noskowski and Cihelny golf course, opened in 2001 and designed by Gary Player design company(www.agc-cihelny.cz)

I have not played any world-class course, so I cannot compare their quality with others. Nevertheles, among Czechs Karlovy Vary and Karlstejn are among the most sought after.
