Does golf need villains to keep it interesting?
« on: July 21, 2011, 11:53:36 AM »
I miss the old fights over the Toms of Fazio and Meeks. When watching the British Open this Sunday it was impossible to root against any of the competitors.  Golf has gotten a little too nice for my tastes.  Is any one else bored to death?  With the fall of Stevie it seems like all the good bad guys are gone.  Who will take their place?  Doak, for having all the work? The Titleist kid for obvious reasons?  We just can't sit back and wait for Tiger, so who?
