Contentment - Elkin, NC

Hello All!  I suppose this is more of a question for Mr. George, but I thought others would be interested in reading the answer.  I was wondering how things are coming along at Contentment.  Having spent my first 18 years in western NC and still having parents in the area, that idea of this "National" club is very intriguing.  The work that Mr. George has done is remarkable and I know Contentment will be the same.  I have read the excitement of others in some older posts, so I thought I would try to generate some more discussion.  The layout looks great and the holes are going to make for quite a fun course.

Mr. George, if you read this, could you tell us a little bit about where the club and where it currently sits in the process of completion?

I wish I could tell you that we are getting ready to go, but I can't.  Recent conversations with the owner are encouraging, as we have discussed several options, but nothing to report yet.  Believe me, when I get the green light, GCA will know.  I have had many people review the plans, express interest in writing about it, volunteer to help and ask to see the site.  Permits are in place.......

Will this be private, daily fee, destination?
