Hi folks,

I have the above-mentioned tee time, so if anyone is up for a game, you are welcome to join me. I heard Ganton is one of the better courses in the area.

cheers,

Ulrich

Ulrich,

It's the best course in the area.  Enjoy.  Sadly I can't join  you at Ganton as I'll be in Elie.
In July I will be riding two stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity, including Mont Ventoux for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

Hi Ulrich,

Sounds great, sadly that is the day I will try my luck at the Old Course ballot... have fun, Ganton looks very good!

I played Ganton a couple of years ago.  It is a great course.  Take your time and study the bunkering. Play 17 from both the back set of tees.  It is a great walk.  Stick around the clubhouse.  It is a great place for a drink.

Well, in case anyone fancies a game on the 2nd of August, I might just be able to make a PM round on that day as well.
