New to GCA
« on: June 30, 2010, 05:16:13 AM »
I am a new member to GCA after following the site for the last couple of years. I have been working in the golf course industry for the past 13 years in a course maintenance form at Kingston Heath, St Andrews Beach and Metropolitan here in Melbourne. Along with this I was involved in the construction at St Andrews Beach and had the privilege of working alongside Renaissance golf.

I did 3 years in full golf course construction having performed all of the final shaping work at the RACV Club.

Over this time I have gained a great love for all things golf course design, and hopefully if Australia (or anywhere) ever starts to build golf courses again, the design field is where I want to end up.

I hope to be able to contribute to some of your great topics.

Ditto Mac...don't hold back, don't back down, don't be afraid to say "oops" if you "oopsed."  This is a nice place to take a debate risk, or risk a debate.
