I had a college tournament where I played much better than expected, and the next time I saw my coach (he wasn't there that day) was a lot of fun. I could say the particular good round I had in perfect conditions at Arcadia Bluffs a couple years ago was a high point.
But my best moment was a couple years ago at the Arcadia (CA) Par Three course. My dad started taking my brother and me there about 25 year ago when were kids, and it's where I learned the game. My dad hasn't been in very good health the last few years, but at that time, he was at a point where he could get around for 18 holes on a par three course with the use of a cart. I hadn't played this course since I was in high school, and it's nothing to write home about. I don't think I ever shot anything better than two or three over out there. I was home for a quick vacation of a couple days, and we went out there play. I hit 17 greens, made eight birdies, and shot seven under. Doing that at any time would have been fun, but doing it in front of my dad made it a lot more special.
