I finally conquered my qualifier demons today and shot 75 to qualify for my first CT Am by two shots.  The Am is going to be held at the CC of Waterbury, a Donald Ross course that dates back to 1899.  It is a par 69 golf course, but almost 6,600 yards, with lots of long par 4s.  I have never had the pleasure of playing Waterbury before, so if anyone knows anything about it and can offer commentary/advice on it, I'd be interested in reading.  The Am begins on Monday he 21st if anyone's interested.  There should be some decent players there.

Tim, I played Waterbury a few years ago. I remember a hilly layout with a number of elevated tees and elevated greens. Not many level lies on the fairways. Staying below the hole is always good advice, especially at Waterbury. Check out the club's website which has a pretty good hole by hole piece. Good luck.
