The Masters and porn on 3D TV. What a country!
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.

I can't think of any event anywhere that would be a better test for 3D than ANGC....for people that have never been to the tourney or played the course it will be the first time they could possibly see the green contours....I keep hearing from some guys that a few years from now it may be pay per view and have about 5 channels....I wish I could find a place that had a 3d TV around here....
Does anyone know how you find them...are they common in sports bars yet?  or can you use the goggles on a regular HD

What is really fitting about the first 3-d golf airing from ANGC is the fact that ANGC and the Masters tournament have absolutely been the pioneers of golf media, broadcasting, view, hosting and much more. As much as people talk about how the place aint what it used to be, golf wouldn't be the same without the place, because of the impact it has had on the average guy via tv and media over the years... cant wait to see it myself one day

Also just did some research on 3-d tv's. Aside from the crazy $$ they cost. Additional 3-d glasses are $150 a piece, so I doubt we will ever see these things in the sports bar or have big viewing parties.

Tim, I wanted to start a thread about that quote earlier today. Glad you did.

Something in th eback of my feeble mind tells me this is a very slippery slope.

Since the Augusta Syndrome has had such negative affect on all the core principles of golf, my concerns about this, are not unfounded.

Anyone else feel like the last thing the golf world needs is to bring unrealistic expectations to the golf viewer, maintenance wise?
