Seemed too good to be true. Went to Borders.com and listed price was $60. :(

Tim -

Go to your nearest Borders and look among the tables of bargain and remaindered books.
You might check online at www.bookcloseouts.com

Its not as if anyone on this site is interested in the great links of Scotland and Ireland, the terrific photos of Larry Lambrecht or reading  Jim Finegan's unique take on the joy of links golf and the time spent between games.

Jim Finegan is a treasure and I suspect that there is only one or two posters on this site that has anywhere near his experience with the great and not so great courses of the world.

I love Jim Finegans books , and his writings.

But rehashing what was written in his other books , then adding photos that were average at best , to produce a book that will buckle the sturdiest of bookshelves is lost on me.

Thanks David. Got mine for $9.97. To my joy I got to see my first pictures of Shiskine.

Just went to check the Borders at Water Tower here in Chicago with no luck. They did have it on sale for $60.

I did however pick up a couple new additions to the "library"...SI's book of golf (which was Geoff Shackleford's golf book of the year on his site), a USGA picture book that has some cool stuff in there, and Paul Daley's book (volume II) with some familiar contributors ;)

I just bought it for $6.34 at a Borders in Springfield, Pa. I went there and found it listed at $19.99. That was fine with me but when I went to the counter and signed up for a Borders card they gave me this price which was 40% off the $10 price they had in the computer.

BTW, there was a stack of them left.
