Hello everyone, from Canada here.

I look forward to taking part in this great community and learning as much as I can about GCA.

Thanks

Hi Frank and welcome to the Mad House.

Remember we are either all self opinionated, quiet or boring, no happy medium on this site. You please one group but upset another, but in the end the only real rule is to have fun and voice your thoughts and opinions.

If others don’t agree, well that’s life.

So jump in and post your worst ASAP

1. Are there any forum rules? If so, where would I find them?

I'm excited to be here....in terms of rules, I just wanted to make sure I don't break any, but I'm glad to see we can all trust each other enough to not worry about rules!

Frank,

Where do you beat up the little round white ball in TO?

I grew up there but now live in the PNW.

TO is a great city (but WAY bigger than when I left).

Welcome to the Funhouse - hopefully you bought a flak jacket on the way in :)

Frank,
Welcome to the site. There are a few people here who have blogs so you shouldn't have any problem with that. I find the most useful and enjoyable posts are those where someone opines about something and then gives reasons for their opinion. Often it is just a "I think "xyz" is the best course in the world."
Pix are always welcome and digital cameras have added an extra dimension to this forum.

Hey Rob,
it's nice to meet you.

I tee it up pretty much everywhere. I spent much of my life at both Beacon Hall and York Downs and they were fun. Now I golf where I can as unfortunately life has gotten in the way of golf. I can't do the 60 - 80 rounds a year anymore.  :(

Welcome aboard Frank!

The rules are quite simple actually.  If your HCP is in the low figures then you're on the NorCal team for the KP.  Otherwise, you're on the SoCal team  ;D .

Welcome. Just to avoid the inevitable question, you can only post pictures that are hosted on a website somewhere. Click the little picture icon above the text box after you click "reply", then insert the link in the middle.
