No.....but we do over estimate the GCA community.....
Whether it be landscape architecture, vertical structure architecture or golf course architecture...IMHO most people can appreciate it and go on down the road.....a guy has a Phillip Johnson building built...loves it but des not dwell on every single piece of glass and what PJ meant to do...he just likes the building...same with homes......
BUT I do think golf presents some unique problems in that most private club ODG stuff is controlled by committees that are caught up in the hype of architecture w/o understanding anything about it.....if they have someone that basically validates their opinons then maybe we have underestimated such.....
