Thanks for the links to that website of aerial photos. Very interesting stuff.

Please be aware that Sharp Park has suffered further damage from coastal storms and flooding multiple times since the first major storm that severely damaged the course within a couple of years after it opened in the 1930's. I am not sure when the current seawall was built to protect the course from further coastal erosion.

The most recent major storm damage to the course, that I can recall, was in the early 1980's. One of the holes closest to the ocean was lost. A 100-yard practice hole was pressed into service to replace it. That hole is still part of the course.

Not that I am one to say I told you so... but man this is all I meant when I expressed doubt in this thread that contacting the Tiger Woods Foundation would do any good... and that Tiger would get involved....
