What would GCGC do
« on: August 03, 2009, 05:49:42 PM »
if it was discovered that Charles Blair Macdonald had a hand in the design and/or routing of the golf course ?

Would they embrace CBM's participation ?

Or would they marginalize/minimize or disavow his influence ?

Would his participation be welcomed or rejected ?

I would think they would welcome it, but not really care all that much....RHE

Robert,

I tend to agree and I believe that they'd amend their next book on the history of GCGC - 1899 to 2024.

Pat

If you really want an answer to this quesion, I'd suggest that you ask GCGC.  I think it still exists.  If you don't know who to call there, maybe Tom Paul can give you an introduction.

I think the answer lay in how they credit Tilly for his work there...  ;D
