Seems like an exceptionally stupid gimmick to me. Fairly worthless.

Thankfully, Melvyn doesn't have nukes.

Nick,
I love it, it's a novel idea.

Who hasn't 'seen'  perfect sites for golf holes while on a long drive. Tell me this, if those holes you saw were 'there', wouldn't you stop and play them on your way by?

It's like an RTJ Trail on-the-cheap.

Do we really know that?  All I think we can be sure of is that he hasn't tested any missiles with sufficient range.   ;)

And besides, just like the Scots, the train can take you there... although I don't think the Indian-Pacific makes that many stops in the Nullarbor right now.

Mike, I believe the correct version is "Nae trust, nae gowf."   :)

Surely that predates "doveryai, no proveryai" by 400+ years.

But maybe you're on to something - perhaps there's a shadowy Links Verify organization that works in concert with the Links Trust!

Good point about the buggy, though...

Well yeah but I never said "This would be a good first hole" and then an hour later said "And here's number two!"  ;D

Why do they say the course is 1300 kilometres if it's actually only the drive between the holes?
