Great news for UK links lovers

I just read in that bible of all things correct and true, London Lite, that the Met Office is forecasting a hot (lots of days in the 30s) and dry summer!!

Not really.  If there were, half the rest of the country would be under water.  Give it another 50 years of global warming.......
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

...the forecast for the last two years was hot... and we had floods and the worst summers in decades.

I'm not breaking out the shades just yet  ;D

Scott,
One thing you will quickly learn is that in the UK forecasters can't get the weather right for the next 24 hours, let alone a whole summer!
2014 to date: not actually played anywhere yet!
Still to come: Hollins Hall; Ripon City; Shipley; Perranporth; St Enodoc

Kyle

Getting close to ‘The Trip’.

I hope you have a great time and that the weather gives you the best chance to experience your game in full. After all, you are not going to Scotland for a Walk a in the Park, nor I hope for a ride.

Sorry, about the Castle Stuart Course - would have been great, nearly got the courtesy of the course but your visit was just too close to the opening date. Others may have complained causing embarrassment to the club, which we did not want. See what we can do on your next trip.  ;)

The New Course, if the wind is up will be great fun and I hope you and Niall enjoy your game.

Again have a great ‘away week’ and the weather will take care of itself. 8)
