NLE - Byron Hot Springs Resort, Contra Costa County, CA

Today's San Francisco Chronicle has an article about the Byron Hot Springs Resort, which flourished between WWI and WWII. The resort was pretty much abandoned after WWII.

The article says the golf course there (NLE) was one of the first built on the West Coast. Does anyone know anything about it. Calling Sean Tully!

Thanks for the link. The website does mention the golf course expanded from 9 to 18 holes in the 1920's, but I could find no information other than that.

I read the same thing.  At the least, there is a chance it was a well known designer in California at the time that expanded the course to 18.  I also did not find anything in the newspaper article that says anything about plans for a golf course?
