I think that if the rather simple basics of ANGC's #12 were posted, most of the above would have similar responses.

But Paul, 12 ANGC is about 150 yards maxed out.  even a duff can hit a 6I and have a moderate chance of holding the green or bounding just beyond, even if in bunker or swale back there.  This thing is over 200 yards, and no run-up apron, just pond/rock carry.  What average duffer is going to hit less than 3 iron if not hybrid or 5W or even 3W.  How does that hold?

RJ....Note the 125/150 yds written by the forward tee. I'm assuming that indicates the yardage the typical 'duffer' will play from.

This sketch also seems schematic....not a working drawing....and that the contours shown are existing, not proposed.

If the contours shown are at 2' intervals, then there is plenty of dirt to shape and grade the features shown and get the drainage and slopes to work correctly.....and tie into the surrounding  terrain quite naturally. The up slopes in the rear will help hold a shot as well.

I'll also assume that the rocks will be placed more artfully.

Hell....this is the most work I've done on a golf course in two months!

I don't have a problem with the hole, just the name. A pot bunker on a Redan??? And a green that slopes the wrong way?
