Monroe  has brilliant bunkering, exceptional green comlpexes, even by Ross's high standard. Above all ,a splendid routing , rich in shotmaking variety , over ideal rolling sand- based terrain.

 
Monroe is a  bulletproof  8 on the Doak scale !

An 8 is pretty darn high Mark, but I think in this case I might agree, especially after the restortation/renovation...the detail and brilliance really shine through!
