I'm with you on holes 6 & 10.  A bit of blindness works really well on both of those holes.

Nice article Frank and good work with getting De Pan that excellent exposure.

You are certainly helping them down the right path and the course is in the best conditions I've ever seen it (last year I mean, as I've yet to play this year and will wait till summer).

I love the 6th and 10th holes but also the closing stretch, in fact the entire second 9 is strong and nice routing. I don't love the way the tree hangs over from the back tee on the 6th however.

It will really be a great improvement when 5 and 7 are restored. It's hard to believe that joker was allowed to change them like that. Shows what can happen when decisions are in the wrong hands. Unfortunately, something I'm learning about the hard way.

I have fond memories of post game luncheon on the terrace with renegade Budapests: crispy sauteed mini whole taters, salmon or the like but most importantly three bottles of crisp white thanks to Conrad.

Of all the clubs we played in the Netherlands, De Pan was the one I'd most want to be a member of (and there were several I'd happily join).  A wonderful course, full of interest but not a ball breaker and a lovely feel around the clubhouse.  Top notch.
