OK, I'll try.

Scotland or England, not so sure Wales, probably not Ireland.

Chip -- do you know, or truly searching for someone out there who might recognize it?

I don't know.  The picture is mine from about 10 years ago.  It is in Ireland (or Northern Ireland) I do know that.

Just a guess. Looks too calm to be the open sea.  Also the green looks like a minor or secondary course.

Did you play either Castlerock  or Portstewart - across The Bann from each other?
Let's make GCA grate again!

i suppose this would help...

i do remember the courses i played..

waterville
dooks
ballybunion (both)
royal dublin
portmarnock
portmarnock hotel
royal county down
royal portrush

definitely not RCD or Portrush, too hilly for Royal Dublin...i remember every hole on waterville, ballybunion old, and portmarnock...so it has to be dooks, ballybunion new or portmarnock hotel.

Chip:
I think this is Portmarnock hotel. The back side has at least one hole that this could be.  I played there two years ago but do not have pictures.

2nd Hole at the Cashen Course, the green on the left being the alternate?
Golf history can be quite interesting if you just let your favorite legends go and allow the truth to take you where it will.
