Panama Golf Anyone?
« on: January 19, 2008, 04:57:29 PM »
I will be traveling to Panama in the middle of March for my Landscape Architecture studio. I saw 1 course located near Panama City, I believe it was Tucan Country Club. Is there anything else around? We are spending a week there so I am hoping there is a course around that might be worth the time to check out.

Fyan, get in touch with Mike Young, I think he's getting involved with golf in Panama or maybe already has.

Darnit chuck, now you got this in my head:

Jump back, what's that sound ?
Here she comes, full blast and top down.
Hot shoe, burnin' down the avenue.
Model citizen zero discipline
Don't you know she's coming home with me?
You'l lose her in the turn.
I'll get her!
Panama, Panama
Panama, Panama
Ain't nothin' like it, her shiny machine.
Got the feel for the wheel, keep the moving parts clean.
Hot shoe, burnin' down the avenue,
Got an on-ramp comin' through my bedroom.
Don't you know she's coming home with me?
You'll lose her in the turn.
I'll get her!
Yeah, we're runnin' a little bit hot tonight.
I can barely see the road from the heat comin' off of it.
Ah, you reach down, between my legs,
ease the seat back.
She's blinding, I'm flying,
Right behind the rear-view mirror now.
Got the feeling, power steering,
Pistons popping, ain't no stopping now!
Panama, Panama
Panama, Panama

Wayne, this Panama Red?

Wikipedia:

Panamanian Red,[1] or P.R.[2] is a cultivar of cannabis sativa, popular among cannabis afficiandos of the 1960s and 1970s, and renowned for its potency.[3][4][5] The typically high THC levels associated with the variety are thought to be dependent on the cultivar, rather than the Panamanian climate.

Kyle, the only part of that song I know is PANAMA!, and it has been going through my head every day since I found out we were doing this.

Bill, thanks I'll try and get a hold of him.

She'll steal your woman,
then she'll rob your head...
Panama Red, Panama Red,
On his white horse Mescalito he'll come breezin' through town,
Bet your woman is up in bed,
with old Panama Red.

That's for those of us who are a little bit older.

Ryan,

That's exactly what I meant.  I see John is nearly as old as I am.  Ah, those were the good ol' days  8)

I kind of figured that, I saw the Jerry Garcia note but couldn't resist:

Have a look for yourself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panama_Red
